THE UPPER EAST SIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL & BATTLE OF THE BANDS booked by Big Apple Rocks Presents at Bar East brings the best bands to uptown NYC for a series of cohesive shows with nights divided up by genre. This enables the bands to reach new fans and build a scene. Additionally, there is a small panel of judges who will choose bands to play the finals for a chance to win a cash prize of $1000 and a commemorative plaque. Bands are judged based on attendance, audience reaction and musicianship.
